Splash Page "enter" button (for free access) is no longer functional after upgrade to CloudTrax 4

If your network's splash page contains a free access button which no longer functions, the template for your splash page may require some updating.

This can occur if you've recently upgraded to CloudTrax 4 Beta (http://ct4.cloudtrax.com) or 5xx firmware. Changes were made to our included templates to provide increased security, so you'll need to edit the source code for your splash page to ensure your template is up-to-date.

Before starting, please ensure "Require Vouchers" is disabled in the SSID settings. If this is enabled, the "Free Access" button will not work.

Follow the instructions below to update the HTML on your legacy splash page:

1. To access your splash page's HTML source, login to the network in question, and navigate to Configure >> SSID#1-4 (depending on which SSID you have a splash page configured for).

2. Under Captive Portal, click 'Edit Splash Page'. This will bring up the splash page to be updated. To edit the source, click the code brackets ‘<>’ in the upper right of the splash page editor, then look for the following code snippet (or equivalent):

3. When you locate this code, you'll be replacing it with the code snippet below:

4. Once you've made the edit, click "Save Changes" and wait roughly 5-15 minutes for CloudTrax to sync the updated splash page to your nodes.
